Stupid wage demands

45 rated player on 240 a day demanding 1600 a day...

This is why nobody stays around/buys premium

Quite a pay rise. I check wage estimates before buying players. I wasted a load of credits buying oldies and maxing out contracts. Wasn't until looked at my clubs income and outgoings after almost week playing I realised. I try to buy players I can flip before renewing contracts. That wont retire.

I've wasted alot on longer contracts. Only if they have the potential of retiring(and are nailed on first XI) or there is no way you will ever sell the player, is it advisable to get longer contract.

Indeed. The oldies I got are more cheap gap fillers in my team than profit on. I max the contracts every couple of days no rush to find a replacement if they do retire. If do sell more expensive player I can still field something in place or change tactics.

Tried renewing three contracts.

One went from 900 a day to 2500

Another 550 to 2500 a day

Another 900 to 3,200 a day.

This is one of many reasons why nobody will purchase premium.

Still a glaring problem of the game.

Absolutely. Over 32 and key player then watch contract, otherwise as and when.
