Continental Cup

I was thinking that since there are so many countries in Europe with a league that there was like a Champions League or Europa League like top 2 from each country plays in a group stage then a 2 leg knockout like real life. It could be over a period of time since there are so many games in one season. Then the winner would be crowned European Champions.

What about the rest of the world? We like to play. :I

There's already a champions league type cup competition across all the leagues, don't see any reason to add another. Would be too many games, and if you're basing qualification on league position then it couldn't take place over several seasons.
