The idea is a cup for all teams that have vifa rank 257-1799, so they have more matches against teams that are about the same strength.

A no from me, because of how easy it is manipulate, the newcomers cup has been won by clubs with a team good enough for top flight football.
The newcomers cup is abit of a joke as it is, and thats exactly what the cup you want introduced would be.

That is a real problem, but can't we exclude every club that has been in the top 100 and in the newcomers challenge every club that has been in the top 1000?
People have wanted changes to that cup, but nothing has ever happened, so right now, can't see anything being changed at the moment.

Cup for each division may be good. All division 1 teams in div 1 cup. All division 2 clubs in div 2 cup. Div3 teams in div 3 cup and then so on with the lesser divisions.

You could still drop down divisions to win a cup but why would you? I reckon keep prize money small for division cups and essentially just an extra for people to achieve
