The Leams run in the inaugural One Nation World Cup came to a dramatic end today with a 4-3 aggregate defeat to Diament Garwolin in the Wooden Spoon Final.

The game started close when Givi Prangulashvili was sent off for the visitors in the opening minutes of the second half giving the Leam a chance to push on with Dan Glasser scoring in the 80th minute.
with the Rangers still signing his name he scored again taking his total to 5 for the tournament and with only 4 minutes to go and the game level over 2 legs the 290 fans in Oliver Henderson Park were treated to a tense Ending.
but it was not to be with only seconds left Besarion Chokheli pulled 1 back putting the Georgians ahead on aggregate and they held there nerves to win the Wooden-Spoon.

Speaking with the manager after the game he told us "we are disappointed to lose, but we have had a Decent tournament and have enjoyed it, but as always our priority is the League so the 3-0 victory here against Kgas today has been our priority and we have just recently hired two members of staff to help me get the best out of our players" so its back to business for the Leam and we will have to wait patiently for the next tournament.
