After a scary moment when Vinternazionale beat King Cobras FC 1-0 in a tight and fiesty match, it look like Vinternazionale would pip King Cobras to 2nd place.
Vinternazionale were 1 point ahead with 2 games remaining each, both teams knew they had to do everything in their power to make sure they bagged 6 points, Vinternazionale played their 2 games first, fortunately for the King Cobras, Bassetts Allsorts came to King Cobras FC aid, Bassetts Allsorts beat Vinternazionale 3-1.
In their last game of the season Vinternazionale beat Marchevsky fc 3-0.
So now it was The Cobras turn, they started of the day with a good 2-0 win over SAN ANDREAS CITY,
The Cobras were halfway there,
Then the last game, they were still 1 point behind Vinternazionale, it was simple, only a win would do, if they got a draw they would be level with Vinternazionale on points, but Vinternazionale had a superior goal difference.
King Cobras v Gabian United, could Gabian cause a upset?
The game started off with quick pace, within a few minutes both teams had shots at goal, on the 8th minute though it was The Cobras who broke the deadlock, play resumed and 2 minutes later The Cobras got another, 2-0, however Gabian weren't finished, and in a tight match where possession was literally equal, King Cobras managed to hold on for a priceless victory securing promotion and the extra financial prize that comes with it.
Manager Ben is very pleased with how the season has panned out, but is wary of entering the world of the top 4 leagues in English football.
"We are now heading into the unknown, top 4 leagues in English football, this is taking the word difficult to a whole new level, i will try my hardest to keep us in the league, we perhaps overacheived in our first two seasons in Div 5, finishing mid table in our div 5 debut season, i doubt that will happen this time, i would take 1 point above the relegation zone now, as long as it meant we stay up"

3 Vinthernazionale P: 30 GD : +42 PTS: 65
So everyone associated with King Cobras FC is excited, but most of all they are right to be cautious, exciting times lay ahead for the club.
