after a dramatic rise through the leagues following the reformation and rebranding of the club, last season marked the first time we had reached div 2 having only spent 2 seasons in div 3. We finished 7th in Div 2 this year having been tipped for relegation. 'This was a great achievement for the club, in the first season we didnt know what to expect, but now we know and can plan to move forward even further' said the Manager/Owner. He added '2nd season syndrome is something we all know about and must work hard to avoid to drop once again until we can improve the squad to fight higher up the league, i would also like to see a good cup run this season. Finally i would like to thank the fans for their continued support on our journey'
In the next couple of seasons we hope to upgrade the training ground as well as the stadium as a capacity of 12,800 does restrict us financially on matchday.
