Today came a shocking announcement from team general manager Walter Dreher, in a special press-conference announced only hours before, Dreher told the press that the front office had decided to put every starter up for auction. Dreher told the press that in order for the team to reach new heights a full rebuild was planned.

"We appreciate what these guys have done for our organization, but it's been me and the coaching staff's feeling that we can't take it much further than this with our current group, that's not fair on our fans - our players, or our team. We need to continue to strive for greatness, which is why we decided to out our entire starting lineup up for auction, while this may be unconventional, we believe the capital gained will allow us to develop an extremely bright future for our team."

While no transfers are finalized, the move was met with great anticipation by other clubs, early interest has been shown on multiple players.
