Over the Line

Written 6 June 2014, 15:11

Huge news from Vale Park today, as Dynamo Groby announce that their new training facilities, which they have invested heavily in are now ready for the team to use. The manager issued the following statement-
"It's been a long hard road, which has seen every resource at the club thrown in to this project, whilst maintaining a competitive playing squad, and league position. But, with the whole club pulling together, we've made it over the line after one last big push this week by the team. We can celebrate achieving this goal, but by no means can we kid ourselves that the hard work is over. Now, a new challenge begins, one that we can attack with the knowledge that we have the very best facilities here for the players, and one which will no doubt take us on to higher and greater things. It's big payoff number one for sticking with our ambitious Finnish project all that time ago, and shows just what the hard work and patience can achieve. We'll now continue to try and raise the bar for our Finnish side, and see how high we can go. We'd like to thank our supporters for sticking with us through the hard times, and being behind us all the way, and we hope we can now reward all the fans with some on field success."

In a move that was generally commended by the fans, a section of the new training ground has been named in honour of Vale Park legend Taavi Litmanen, the Dynamo Groby goalkeeper, who holds the club appearance record.

Inspiring.

I hope the shiny new WCTF earns you a fortune and helps in your goal to reach the top.
