Mark Steiger has joined the whites on a two year deal. Jean-claude Purtschert left in January after a suitable bid was tabled. A replacement was needed and Chowdhury has loaned Mark Steiger until the end of the season when he is out of contract and is meant to sign a deal of the length of 2 years. Jonathan Britton had been given a chance to see if he could provide a goal scoring threat but he failed to score in four matches, and in doing so became the first striker to play 30 games without scoring for the whites, reaching 32 games. Mark Steiger is likely to play in our next fixture.
