RB Spion Kop FC

Where did it go wrong for the Kopites?

The start of the season began with optimism for RB Spion Kop FC, they had made three big money signings in Richard Findl, Naveed Kamran and Sintle Monwa. Come end of the season and the club lie bottom of the table and the front three of Erasmo Ueta, Bailey Brooksby and Sintle Monwa scoring a combined 10 goals. The club are also now without Lars Skåring who has now retired.
The team took a late blow to the season with top goalscorer Ueta being ruled out until half way through next season, effectively taking away the clubs only real goal threat.

The big question now raised will be why club created such few chances which will potentially see an overhaul of the clubs midfield and strike force. With Sintle Monwa failing to produce anything other than 1 goal in 31 games.

The only bright light of the season is that the club conceded the 9th least amount of goals in the season, thus providing a ground work from which they can build on. Richard Findl particularly impressing among the new signings.

The clubs reaction has been simple, with a lower league comes lower revenue and any dead weight or flops will be let go as seen by Sintle Monwa who has been sold for 400k.

The club will be promoted again, its as simple as that. They are too good for any other team in the league, its a chance to reflect on their approach and chance for any young player to stake a claim to the first team, they will be given their opportunities.
