Razey Rovers will be parting with possibly the 2 greatest legends the club has ever seen, Jeffry Vincent & Kenley Paul Kendall.
With a combined total of 5054 apperances for the club they were certainly a loyal couple, also just costing a total of 35,000 C you can say they were a bargain for there services. Both now have choosen to hang up the boots to go into employment both Jeffry Vincent and Kenley Paul Kendall have decided to become trainers after there role at Razey Rovers of help training the youngsters who have come to fill in their space in the team. These 2 players being Leo Pimienta & Ohto Rahkonen who both look like they have come for bargain prices.
They both had long successful careers at Razey Rovers.
Jeffry Vincent who first appeared in the season 2009-19, Razey Rovers where only a mere Division 9 side. But Jeffry Vincent went on to get a further 2588 apperances through division 9,8,7,6 & 5 scoring 1446 goals in the process, and as far as I know no other player has appeared more for any other club. Meanwhile Kenley Paul Kendall joined 3 season later when the club when the clubs were just trying to get comfortable in Division 8 and totalled up 2465 with over 2000 of those apperances as the club capatin but KPK only managed 383 goals, but which is still impressive for a MC.
Manager Joe King ツ had this to say "It's a very big loss for the club, those two have been at the club for so long its sad they wont be here for the 2 year anniversary next month, but we will be inviting them to the party as honourary guests"
We then later spoke to Kenley Paul Kendall which he had this to say "It was very hard for me to make the decision to retire as this club is my life and will always be in my heart, thats why they can expect me to come to every event and be a regular season ticket holder, ive also learnt all the chants after hearing them over 1000 times, literally. Its great to see and hear the fans so enthusiastic and passionate about the club. But i do love the chant they sing for me which goes something like - 'Lets Go Effing Mental, For Kenley Paul Kendall, Come On You Rovers!' Which they mainly sang after i score or do something brilliant." He then went on to say
"The decision for my retirement came while sat in the physio room with a strained hamstring thinking my body isnt as young as it use to be and it wont be able to that the physical side as much anymore, so i went to see the manager about it which he was upset abit but convinced me to sign one last contract."
Razey Rovers will also be retiring the shirt numbers 8 & 9 in their honour as well as renaming the 'Western Bank Stand' to 'The KPK & Vincent Stand' which both Jeffry Vincent and Kenley Paul Kendall said "It truly is an honour not to be loved but worshipped at the club just as much as the manager is."
