Razey Rovers

Carl Randell Calls It A Day

Written 31 July 2010, 23:10

On the 27th of July after holding contract negotiations, Carl Randell told Joe King and Razey Rovers he will not be renewing his contract so he could be come an assistant. Joe King respected his decision and gave Carl Randell a trial but after 3 days later he left the club saying "I love this club but im looking to have a new challenge." He then continued "I will always remember this club for what they have done for me and i'm sure the fans will remember what i have done for the club."

Carl Randell had a long successful career. He was first discovered by Dynamo Chiken Kiev where he only played 21 times for them before getting spotted by scouts from Razey Rovers and before you knew it he was getting trasnfered for 18,000C. But that price turned out to be a bargain at the end of the day for Razey Rovers as Carl made a total of 1559 apperances in 5 different divisons also with that amount it makes him currently the 3rd highest on Razey Rovers list of most apperances but only scoring 9 goals, getting 35 assists and being awarded 42 MoM awards, he was also quite a clean player with only 12 yellow and 8 reds in his whole career. He was also inducteed into the hall of legends.

But in the memory of Carl Randell Razey Rovers played a friendly match against Dynamo Chiken Kiev on the 29th of July which ended in a 2-1 victory for Razey Rovers. And the last game he played was a 1-1 draw against Viborg Fodboldklub where he also got the MoM award. After the match Carl looked upset as he said farewell to the fans and the club.
