.... is that it is mind numbingly, soul destroyingly boring. Ooooo my players have gone up 40 or more stats points in a week - lovely - only another 6 months real time until they can actually compete in the top flight, win you stuff and earn real gate money.
I sold off a very promising homegrown DR the other day just for something to do, a bit of excitement, how much will he fetch etc...
Once you have upgraded everything this game can get very stale. I have some lovely players at the moment. I'm not talking about some noddy who can just about tie up his own boot laces but players that will, without doubt, be national players by the time they hit 27. The problem is that I cannot afford enough of these players to reach the number 1 slot. Currently by the time my lot hit 30 there will be a huge range in stats within the squad from around 2150 to over 3000. It's good but it ain't good enough. I am going to have to rinse and repeat this process several times to get the squad I need - this is going to take me time Be patient my young padawan, be patient!
