Moody Bow

The thing about recently...

Lately Moody Bow Football Club have had more then their fair share of red cards and injuries. In fact I have lost count over the past 4 weeks but I can say that it is at least 10 serious injuries and around 15 red cards (most of which carried either a 3 or 4 game ban). This puts me at a tremendous disadvantage to the peers in my leagues, especially when these have often occurred during a '6 pointer game' or just before.
But what about opposition players sent off or injured during this time? - Well I'm glad you asked - these total less than 10 in total - and I am being generous with the figure 10!
This said we have still managed to get promoted back to the top flight and sustain this status for 2 straight weeks, which is a credit to the backroom staff and players, so well done chaps!
On three occasions over the past 3 weeks I have had a player seriously injured, used my overly expensive VMan Lab to patch them up a little quicker, only to find them red carded on the first or second game back. This just stinks of conspiracy - yes we'll let you fix them Mr Moody but actually we're just going to take your money and ban them anyway so that they are in fact unable to play for the length of time they should have been out for if you hadn't of intervened in the first place.
During this 3 weeks I have been eagerly watching the top Danish teams in my league to make sure they have lots of injuries and red cards too - what a pointless exercise that's been!!!

Soooo, onto something a little more lighter. The Bow is shaping up nicely, although we still lack a few key players such as a kick ass MO and a dynamo MC. These are things I am working on and will address over the next week or so. If Hermes doesn't buck his ideas up and start playing like the gold star he is and less of the pyrite wannabe I suspect he might be he'll be going too.
The Moody Bow youth brigade is coming along a treat. Currently I have 3 home grown players that could well be sticking around for some time to come which is always pleasing and cheap smiley
The Bow has a few quid in the bank atm and is closely watching a team to see what he can learn from him in respect to the 'wheeler dealer' side of things. He doesn't know this ofc ha ha but I am sure he wouldn't mind cos he's a decent enough fella.

Next week is likely to be tough as I only just survived this week and at least 3 of the 4 teams coming up will give me a run for my money. Provided others get the 'poor luck' bug rather than me for a change I might be OK. We will see.

COME ON YOU BOW!
