The orange Pro Training Facility has landed. There are rumours you can see it from 35k feet it's that damn impressive 
As tradition dictates the first 3 training practices have been utter dross. They might as well have been training in the street with those light weight plastic balls we use to play with as a kid that flew off on trajectories that make the 'Jabulani' ball seem perfectly normal. I was getting slightly worried as to why with all this new state of the art kit the lads were not training well until today when I sussed it ....
Basically I reckon it takes a few days for the players to actually be bothered to read the manuals and find out how to use this gear. I found one player on the 'peck deck' trying to lift half his own body-weight. The guy was whistling like a kettle and kept letting off squeaky trumps with the sheer effort of it.
Hopefully by the end of the week the training scores will have improved and the lads will actually start to benefit from this rather large expenditure.
As for today's results they have been poor. Beating really tough sides and then dropping points to teams near the bottom of the league? Sometimes I just don't get VM. Anyway, hopefully we can stuff DaCrushers later and resurrect a poor day at the office.
