Due to unforeseen circumstances - well actually it's because of a string of suspensions - the new training ground has been postponed until the middle of next week. The catering crews have been notified and the small sausages (veggie ofc ) on a stick have been put back into deep freeze for another few days and the large consignment of Vienetta has been halted at the depot.
I am secretly quite happy about this because Gordon ... you remember him? ....... has still not finished picking up all the litter yet and I want my gaff looking just so for the big unveiling.
Things of note this week are that Florestan Boza was dismissed twice this week. Ironically it was against the same team so FC Valetdu picked up 6 lucky points which pissed me off tremendously – especially as up until this point we hadn’t ever dropped a single point against these guys … grrrrr! We did however get our revenge by dumping them out of the cup – COME ON YOU BOW!
Moody happily welcomed back Jason Darwent for a second stint at the club this season to cover yet more suspensions as another, usually dependable, performer and all round decent guy Sol Gerber also saw red in a heated game against FC Grimmer.
One important feature about the new training facility will be a ‘Moody Bow Hall of Fame’ and also a ‘Moody Bow Walk of Shame’. Currently there are several candidates for the Hall of Fame such as the ever dependable Rudy Sosa and Kyu-Hook Yeon. The first candidate into the ‘Walk of Shame’ will undoubtedly be the donkey Richard Jullander. Never has there been a worse striker in Moody Bow folk lore since the time some hapless defender ousted the then centre forward citing ‘You’re crap I can do better than that’ … it’s a long story don’t ask and no it didn’t end well!
For now that’s about it but just a final mention for Joesoaps Squad for becoming the first Brit to gain a World Class Training Facility. Now lets see what you’re made of Joe and come and have a go if you think you’re hard enough
