Review of Season Five - Italy Division 4 Group 8

A mixed season on and off the field.

The First Team found themselves in a six way fight for promotion due to: a promoted and two relegated quality squads being added to the perennial high flying teams in the division.

A fourth place finish eventually ensued putting the ‘finish third cynics’ in the shade … For now at least

Having been relegated the U23's returned to Division Four where they are much more comfortable finishing in third place at the end of the season.

Business in the transfer market was now as good as the previous season but still enabled the funding of two further expansions to the main stadium.

Looking ahead ...

If transfer trading goes well further off field developments will continue at current pace … ahead of schedule. On the field, both teams are looking good and another successful season (again) feels likely
