Written 14 March 2019, 07:55

Charlie Hickson gave us an interview after being announced captain. “I am looking forward to taking the captain armband as Tez is leaving. I was thinking of retiring but now that I have the captains armband I will reconsider. I have just come back from injury. I was injured by Benno Fry of Hanegal FC who also scored later on in the game. My team went on to draw it was one of our two this season. If he played fair I think we would have won. I am proud of our teams efforts this season against the teams of Division 4. I am very happy for Aibhne Greaney who recently was sold to Whittall United for $600,000. Even though I haven’t played under Ole Ole Ole I have heard great things about him, and the set up would suit Greaney” said the 36 year old DC.

“I am currently looking for Forwards and my budget is up to $50000 each” Aveiro said “ I will sell my youths if I get some offers.” That was all we heard from him.

Smith Smith and Stanley Culpan were tired after a tough Thursday training. Stanley Culpan the older of the two agreed to an interview the following day. The 15 year old said “I think the coach is pushing us too hard. But I think it’s good for the youths to be pushed to the limit because it will help us in the near future. I truly enjoy the challenge altogether. It’s truly amazing to be under such a talented coach.”

Hickson and his team are looking forward to settling a rivalry with Hanegal FC. Hickson is looking forward to the second game as this will determine 15th and 16th place. The match will be played at Sailing to Victory, ticket price is only 8c per person so come along. This will be the greatest game you will ever witness. Aveiro is very disappointed that Teza will have already retired because he is a crucial part of the attack and the whole team, and will be looking for a replacement.
