LVL5 Stadium completed & Season 2021_07 review
Season 2021-07 was a good one for our club, seeing us well above the targeted 11th place for the sponsorship bonus, we ended the season on the 9th place.
After 3 seasons in Italy, starting at 12th place and moving up to 6th place before switching leagues last season, we have a good base for future success in top division which was further improved this past season.
Last season we sold two of our midfielders, in an attempt to rejuvenate the team with younger players and cash in on some profits, while freeing some space for new youths.
Out:
- 29yo ML, rated 84 with maxed out main skills, brought in a month ago and a key player in the squad, sold for just 750k profit after being on TL for the whole duration in the cheapest 2 players at his level:

- talented 15yo MC https://www.virtualmanager.com/players/14597303-casper-tyssy grought in for 2,2M sold for 5M in a short enough period and for a good profit.

- late 28yo 81 rated DL was brought in as a temporary replacement until other youth DL catches up to the same level, for just 5,3M that's 200k under previous price paid by the team trying to make a profit on him: https://www.virtualmanager.com/players/13844520-ervin-muo he'll need a bit training in the physical department where he's lacking a bit. So far he's not losing training due to aging which is always a big plus, we'll see how long he can go in our team, as he's already TLed at 6,99M, below his 7,4M value.
- 89 rated early 29yo DR which will soon reach 90 rating: https://www.virtualmanager.com/players/13817199-sergi-sepulveda .Brought in for 8,75M and TL for 13M with a 1,2M discount until the next 90 rated 29yo DR on the TL and over the 11M he was previously sold for. He could bring in quite a good profit as our previous DR rated 90 at 30 yo also has . Also a temporary purchase until youth DR now rated 71 will reach 1st division playing skills.
- 15yo DC now valued at 1,12M: https://www.virtualmanager.com/players/14618713-roy-noble that's dissapointed in his first 2 trainings in line with the senior's team 3 week streak of bad trainings before moving him to the youth, but is catching up with close to 190 and 200 in the last two trainings, hopefully he'll keep it up. Currently TLed at 3M for a quick profit if his trainings won't improve as he was scouted Reasonable so should average over 160
- 15yo FC that was highly overtrained, he was 30 PP without penalty when bought, also affected by poor trainings in first team. - 15yo ML, also scouted reasonable, https://www.virtualmanager.com/players/14602248-moriz-moskvina but with lower trainings and no overtraining, he's TL'd at just under 1M for quick selling, to free space for tomorrow's youth promotion.
Stepping in, at least temporary for the ML place is our most talented youth so far 24yo 69 rated, soon to be 70: https://www.virtualmanager.com/players/14077952-simion-preoteasa , same as previous DM. If we manage to find another ML on discount he'll wait some more for his turn at around 75-77 rating, otherwise he'll just have to focus on main skills and stamina to be able to compete in 1st division. Financial statement, with the 2M bonus for new Div1 league and increased funds available due to sales and 1M from Sponsors and media rights made it possible for a 12,5M investments in the stadium upgrade, 10M for seniors which is now @ 64.000 places fully upgraded to Level 5 and another 2,5M for youth which now seats 9.000 supporters, which led to a 2.9M loss overall but with a higher financial perspective for the future.

We spent quite a lot on repairs this season, and the wages have increased considerably, from around 1,2M to 3M+ eating away at our profits! Next season again around 700k repairs are expected
This season for the first time we reached an average team rating of 80, which was a target for the past 6 months, and a fist checkpoint towards winning 1st division and potentially some Cups.
Expectations run high with a team averaging 90 expected in the next 3-4 months, between 28 and 30 yo, with the exception of the youths coming from youth squad that might act as backups or seniors if Stadium upgrade is needed yet again, but only on the condition that the players eventually reach 90 rating before 30yo otherwise they'll be on TL and replaced.
Another target for the next 3 months is to be in another Cup final, if not win it. But that will probably not be before end of march 2021.
We'll also be actively looking for a switch to different countries and continue the shy and unofficial 'World Tour'. So far we've played in 1st division in France, Italy and Turkey, with next targets being Spain and USA unless the ratings for these divisions change and they get more difficult, as the main purpose is to remain at this level for the foreseeable future if it will make financial sense, which we're currently monitoring.
For season 2021_08 the only goal is to remain in first division and in top 150 teams while also finding a spot in another first division. If any 1st team player will be brought it has to be at discounted price and align with our team renewal strategy, so Potentially a new Keeper, MO or MC/MD in which case another 1-2 players will be allowed to leave in addition to the ones mentioned above.
