In an unexpected move, Viitorul board anounced the hiring of exceptional scout Thorkil Baadsgaard. In the hopes of discovering the greatest talents that money can buy, this didn't come as a surprise, as "Viitorul" means "future" in Romanian, so the club is focused on discovering and training the best players available. Manager Adrian, when asked about signing the new staff member had this to say:
"It is a rare opportuity to find such a rare and talented individual, and I look forward to working closely with Thorkil to find the next generation of talented youth for our club."
