I was unsure that I should promote last season, but I estimated that with a little tactical advantage I could survive at lest the initial season.
And it started to come in place, following a resounding victory against the leader of the division, 3-0 on the away match, and a close home match lost 0-1 despite having the possession and the shots in our favor:

I also increased the stadium with 1k places for 850k which led to almost 20% increase in tickets income.

L.E.: Just started the 2nd season in 3rd and I have also improved the stadium to 10k seats, and with no good DC my chances for the next season to stay in 3rd are slim, as I had to sell I had to sell https://www.virtualmanager.com/players/12455931-magnus-munkvold in order not to risk loosing him to retiring (taking a -150k dip).

Next I'll have to sell https://www.virtualmanager.com/players/12510451-ville-ekberg for the same reason, and with a team averaging 50 it's difficult to remain in 3rd.
From observing the others in 3rd I noticed I can expand the stadium to around 12-16k which will sell at 7 C, for an minimum of 1.3 M credits / season.
So depending on where I'll end up I might try a low cost team to earn from tickets or try and flip some more to accelerate the construction of training facilities.
