In the 2nd round of the FA Cup, Crawley were away to Division 6 Group 6 side Benford. Crawley has played them on the back end of last season in their promotion to division 5, with the game finishing 1-1 at Benford. This game was veteran striker Trevor Hall’s last game for Crawley.

Crawley started off as the dominant side, with the posession highly in their favour. As the 1st half went on however, the hosts started to look more threatening and would’ve scored, if not for the heroics of Ngozi Adesida, who saved from point blank range.

The second half began, and 10 minutes into it, Crawley found the breakthrough. Hazlitt Buchanon played through Trevor Hall, who shot early and made no mistake, firing past the goalkeeper and sending the reds fans behind the goal into ruptures.

The game was seen out well by the reds, who progress to the FA Cup 3rd Round. Many fans have said that they hope to draw a big premier league side at home.
