On 3.5.2018 Tapponautit 34 years old Danish forward Niki Knude has announced his retirement. Having 2 days left on his contract, Knude will retrie on 5.5. "The Danegerous" #7 has played 1097 matches with the team, scoring 390 goals, making him the 3rd highest scoring player in the clubs history. He played right wing position on the legendary trio with Dallku and Parsa. Heres a quote from him on his announcement speech:

"Im saddened to inform you that ive come to accept that my body isnt in the best shape anymore. Ive had a dream ride here, but it will unfortunately come to an end once my contract is done."

Knude also told that he will continue on as a scout, but wheter its with Tapponautit hasnt yet been announced.
