Unfortunately this is no april fools, but on 1.4.2018 Tapponautit 32 years old #22 Chadwick Grayer has retired from the game. The USA born midfielder played 882 matches with the club, scoring 33 goals, giving 110 assists and being chosen as Man of the Match 11 times. Overall carrer stats for him are 1304 matches, 28 goals, 148 assists and 12 MotM's. He served as a alternate captain since 12.3 and was a big part of the teams middlefield. Grayer in his last speech:

"Its so very thankful that i was able to find a club this great on my homeland. It was always great to play here, not far from home. Not to brag, but i think ive seen fans wear my shirt more than any other player in our club, but it makes sense (he says with a small laugh). That has been great to see. But i definitely want to thank my teammates, theyve been a absolute joy to play with. And a huge thanks to our GM and staff too. Thank you all."

The GM Tappajanautti:

"Thank you Grayer. We had to part with a great player (Dato "Goliath" Goliadze) to aquire you, but i believe it was the right decision. You made our middlefield extremely strong and eased everyone elses job majorly. Im also happy that the fans had a home boy playing here. So, thank you."

The team hasnt aquired a replacement for Grayer yet.
