Ferris a great replacer

Tapponautit forward Peter Ferris has been on fire since the move to the starting line up along with Benjamin Parsa and Niki Knude. The 32 years old Northern Irish #88 has scored the team leading 16 goals and (4 assists) in 21 matches. Ferris was moved to the starting line up to replace the retired club legend, all time scoring leader, Atdhe Dallku, and has filled that spot fantasticly. He scored a goal in his very first starting line up match (1-2 victory over Tøsepigen, 1-1 from Ferris, 1-2 from Parsa), and has scored 2 hat tricks this season (one 4 goals match). We caught him for a interview after his 2nd hat trick in a 5-0 home victory against Tøsepigen, and asked about how hes doing:

"Im feeling great! Eventhought the loss of Dallku was really sad for us, Im very grateful for this spot on the starting line up, and will do my best to replace him. Ben (Parsa) and Niki (Knude) are absolutely fantastic guys to play along with, it feels extermely easy and fun to move the ball with them. Of course the whole team is a huge help. This is already the most goals ive scored in a season, and i own a lot to them. I have set a goal for myself to score at least 20 goals, and its looking good so far. I still got to keep working hard, nothing is guaranteed here."

Overall during his time in Tapponautit, Ferris has scored 183 goals in 581 matches.

The team is currently sitting on the 4th place of USA Division 4, Group 4, with 38 points (+19) in 23 matches.
