Change of League

Decided to change leagues after more than 5 years in England and following FA Cup and League title successes - pastures new and all that.

Team looked well equipped for French League 1 but a disappointing campaign so far with no chance of challenging for the league even with ten games to go.

Results not as expected and training way down on what it has been. Money spent but with training returns lower than expected I doubt any real return will be seen.

Need to sit tight and see what happens during the 2nd season before making any rash decisions?

2nd season started well until two players receiving red cards in separate league games resulting in points dropped. Also out of both cups early doors so not good. Up to full strength for second half of season and still in with a shout of league honours.

A couple of new signings also so fingers crossed! Bank balance now low but hopefully minimal player investment for next few weeks?

Another pants season really in France, should be doing better!

Tactics changed, sending off's at wrong time didn't help but still not good.

Sold really good players at end of season to restart, probably a mistake but hey ho, need the money to rebuild later. Still staying patient, no chance of success this season but maybe a few seasons down the line?

Thought the team was gradually getting there with a 3rd place in week 5, 3rd again in week 6 followed by a 2nd and 3rd in weeks 8 and 9.

How wrong could I be: currently languishing in the relegation zone during this week 10 after a truly terrible first 7 games and already knocked out the VM World Cup. Conceded goals in the 90th-93rd minutes of last 3 games. Tactics seem all over the place.

Just going to ride this season out and see what becomes of it. Still got the French Cup to go for so who knows?

Top teams entering the league has hampered the teams progress to winning the French title but hey, that's what it's about.

Ran Southpark really close losing by just 3 points who are probably the team of the year right now and then just missed out by finishing 2nd again in Wk12.

Thought this Wk13 would be the one but had 2 players sent off during the first 9 games has meant unexpected points dropped - are we unlucky or what! Training has also taken a nose dive by arounf 40% - what's going on!

Ride it our, keep calm - I wish!
