Written 2 February 2014, 20:21

First of all, the RDA staff would like to wish all Chinese Managers a Happy Lunar New Year. This is the year of the horse, and we hope they live a safe and happy life.

Success yet again. RDA this time manages a 2nd place finish, good enough to move into Division 4, Group 3. Manager Michael Evans praises his team for doing a wonderful job and managing a 2nd place finish with a weaker team than others. He states that the promotion, "is a challenge for my fellow members to really showcase their strengths and who they are."

The Red Devils will join the NCC again, with the first game they played against Bicester fc a success. Oliver Phelan scored the winning goal, as the Red Devils won 1-0. The 2nd round wasn't so pretty, as RDA lost to Ath Bilbao Baggins by 4 goals. Yet Evans says about the performance "a Good old smacking will do the trick."

The Transfer Window was in bit of a surprise this season. Dilan Van Hughes was sold back to Peterborough Academy on a 40k move. The lone acquisition was youngster Rolando Ceron, wearing No.77. Signed off the free transfer market, his training has impressed scouts, and the front office will do everything they can to try to sell him off for a high price. Reportedly, Robin Stuart, chairman, is aiming to sell off 10-12 rated players in the squad and to replace them. A 350k transfer budget has been given, with 100k most likely used to upgrade the physical department and staff, but the budget will rise if they can sell off players at high cost.

A new staff member was welcomed to the squad, as Mark Manning, former coach of FC Candy, was signed as Assistant coach of the Red Devils. This signing comes due to the fact that The Goon Squad has signed Paul Scholes as head coach. Manning, who received a 3 Year Deal worth $100k, spoke to the media that he will work hard with coach Evans to drastically improve the squad. Agent Kenneth Lee and Chairman Robin Stuart also got renewed contracts of 10 Year $500k and 10 Year $450k respectively.
