SuDoku New Year update

The board of directors at SuDoku AFC would like to place on record their thanks to everyone involved with the club since they bought the franchise in March of 2013.
The annual report received from the auditors on 31st December shows that the finances of the club are in great shape and the staff are performing very well indeed.
In particular the players who have turned out for the club during this period have suceeded in bringing some excellent football onto the pitch and keeping the fans (whose numbers are growing by the day) richly entertained.
The Chariman Mr Madley Hatter has picked out 3 members of the staff for particular recognition this year:
Firstly; the Club Manager Mr Charles George - who has been congratulated on his running of the club since being re-instated after the slight mis-understand in May (- see "this thread" ) if you missed the fun...
).
Mr George is being given extra funds for the daily transfer window to allow him to continue flippin players and to attract the best calibre of squad to the club for the intended return to the English League and an assault on the Premier Division.
Secondly; to our longest serving player Masashi-do-Gitsunobu (now retired
) who has been recognised as being the mainstay of the team for the last few months and has contirbuted everything from leadership to goals aplenty.
"Masha" will be receiving a special award at the New Year dinner party and his contract will be further extended in the hope that he can continue playing for some time yet. (A place on the coaching staff has already been reserved for him to take up should he chose to do so at the appropriate time.)
and Thirdly; "Fred" the Head Groundsman/Caretaker and long-standing "voice of the fans", for all his hard work in respect of keeping the pitch and stadium in top condition in order to allow the team to do their best.
Several comments and letters of thanks have been received from visiting staff and supporters complimenting SuDoku AFC on the state of the facilities and the all round friendliness of the club.
Mr George has responded to the Chairman's comments by thanking him in return for his support and financial backing since his return to the hotseat.
His main address to the assorted member of the press revolved around the ongoing changes to the World of VM.
Mr George has previously joined the Board of Directors and Chairman in expressing his concerns about the 3D match Sim which has now been introduced - despite previous concerns raised with "The Devs." (See Previous Press Statement.)
Now that the switch has been flicked (and numerous Established Managers have thrown Teddy out of the cot and left the game) there would appear to be more open opportunities for those of us left here to progress even quicker up the rankings / Leagues - and Mr George would encourage everyone to follow in his footsteps (but not overtake him!) in their efforts to "get to the top"!
Masha Gitsunobu was his usual humble self, not wishing to take the limelight, but pointing out that the whole game is a team effort and without the skills of his fellow professionals he would have been made to look like an island at sea in respect of his performances on the pitch. He thanked the management of the club for their faith in him and expressed his wish to continue playing at currently high level for the foreseeable future. He further added his particular sustained gratidude to the fans and promised to continue to enteratin then to the best of his ability with more goals over the next few seasons.
When asked for a comment in response to the praise he had received "Fred" simply asked the assembled reporters if they had finished their work - pointing out that he needs to organise the cleaning of the room ready for our next home game.
(It is privately understood that he had a major hang-over from last night - but it would probably be unfair to dwell upon that condition as the celebrations of the fans for reaching Vifa rank #35 yesterday were completely understandable.)
Finally; all concerned with SuDoke AFC would like to wish our fellow managers a Very Happy and Prosperous New Year - both within and without the game - and we look forward to playing against those of you we meet in a spirit of fun and mutual respect during 2014.
The club is sorry to see the potential demise of so many other franchises since the introduction of the new match sim. etc... : (as of the beginning of March the "flood" of managers leaving the game seems to have slowed to a more normal "dribble"
